Didnt know that. Was Squid Games not just a Korean success story - never planned for more but success meant they had to?!

Aye in this instance for sure. They just leave it open ended in case there is a possibility of getting a new series without any real idea where it will go.

I started watching Mobland a couple of weeks ago after hearing it was so good but having got to the sixth episode I've sacked it off. To be honest after two episodes I didn't think much of it and after saying as much colleagues they said keep on with it.
I've give it another whirl, but it's just not cutting the mustard.
Overhyped in my opinion.

Squid Game - utterly superb

This third season had it's share of mixed reviews, and the addition of the baby taking her mothers place seemed weird at first, but fair to say it ended up ramping the tension right up and made those last few episodes really thrilling. Thought Gi-hun's ending was pretty satisfying as well - his character went on one hell of a rollercoaster ride over the entire series. Overall the show was a brilliant evocation of the best and worst of humanity and that was summed up succinctly in that last episode in particular.

Be interesting to see what they do with an American version, although I'm thoroughly expecting that it just won't match up to the original either way..

On episode 4 of Dept. Q- really enjoying it. Some naff bits (the punks in the squat with flick knives was trrrible) but, overall a really good base for a crime/detective tv show
