Quite frankly, anybody playing for Everton over the last four years or so have questions to answer. Some have, some heven't. I think it’s very hard to judge young players in this period. He’s had really bad luck with injuries and he did impress in a few cameos when fit even in a Dyche that basically played no football.

If you read everything that's been tweeted they all say "deal in place" without actually saying he's signed.

They're reporting an agreement between the clubs, but not the player signing.

We've agreed a fee and terms, but the most important bit is still to be done and you know his agent will be on the phone to every other interested club trying to get a better deal.
