I think moaning will get worse when season starts, my main worry is that there simply isn't the same atmosphere as you had at GP. Numerous opposition players, managers and fans have talked about how intimidating GP could be. At GP you could have season defining moment such as Phil Nevilles challenge on Ronaldo, where atmosphere went from dead to defeaning and we got an equaliser. Even in Upper Gwladys and Bullens Road, you would get everyone singing when we needed it. I don't want us to become a soulless tourist dome. But until season starts I'll reserve my judgement.

Last few seasons atmosphere helped other teams as well. Dread to think what our record at GP was over last 10 years

Sometimes you can't make these things up. Hopefully they address it in the not too distant future.

Obviously it’s the new owners who are footing the bill for the finishing touches but they’ve gone really bottom end on this cheap tarpaulin.

I can't comment on the colour. I am a little colour blind, so had people not mentioned this I would be non the wiser

Up to the fans to bring the atmosphere with us. If we want to play in a league with the big boys, we need to be ambitious, and that means a world class stadium with top facilities. Parochial and nostalgic thinking will get us nowhere.

I think club have played huge part in damaging atmosphere. Take a look at derby for example, blasting songs rather than just letting fans chant, then playing forever Everton or Spirit of Blues when players were on pitch. Hopefully they turn down PA system it was never that loud before, in fact when I had season ticket in Lower Gwladys you couldt hear PA system a lot of times.
