Just had a look at the scores in the Championship using the Kookaburra ball. Three scores over 400, 7 scores over 500, including 697, 722 and Surrey's 820 ; seems very unfair on the bowlers, especially when the experiment (last four matches) is supposed to prepare bowlers for test matches where the ball is being used. Stupidly, very few bowlers who would be picked for England are actually playing in these matches !
