Last Film You Watched

Parts of it where that bad, it was like a gang of drama students had been given a free reign over it`s production.

What poor old Raiph Fiennes must`ve thought when he read the script for his part as the post apocalypse Tango Man, god only knows
It beggars belief actually. A Boyd/Garland movie practically markets itself but in this case it was a well known IP with actually a brilliant trailer. Still staggered by how bad it was and the ending….it was like watching the video for Sabotage 😄😄😄

@jaycee

28 Years Later.

Best described as a " massive disappointment ".

The good - the chase across the causeway / the petrol station scene ( amazing camera work ). The soundtrack was very good too.

The bad - criminal waste of Jody Comer and Raiph Fiennes and the whole film trying to be clever and " surreal ".

I appreciate that it was a different film, as nearly all of the infected were now dead, so there`s not going to be wave after wave of attacks like the first two, but the fact that you have the Alpha`s ( fast and clever `) and the slow ones ( pointless addition ) still alive made no sense at all. Even worse we now have infected women, who are capable of giving birth to non infected babies

The completely mad, but I loved it - Jack O`Connell and his tribe of velour clad Ninja Jimmy Saville`s
I enjoyed the teletubbies song being turned into a metal deathcore track

Just watched final destination: bloodlines.

My word what a terrible film.

I watched 28 days later & 28 weeks later in anticipation for 28 years later. Seeing the reviews I think I will give it a miss.

Can’t remember the last time a decent horror/scary film was released.

Remember The Terrifier getting touted as the scariest film ever and that was gash.

Just rewatched 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later in prep for 28 Years Later. My thoughts

28 Days was a benchmark achievement at the time. Interesting synopsis. As with these types of zombie type flicks you need to suspend some disbelief from time to time, and this one stayed within the realm of believable except for the actions of the military at the house. You're fighting for civilization here, I don't understand laying it all on the line for some nooky mere hours after the women arrive. But OK. Good film

28 Weeks had some concepts of the good film. But the utter lack of protection/security when they bring the mom back from outside the safe zone is beyond belief and really mars the film. Gotta find another way for the virus to take off again. I mean she was literally quarantined in a hospital bed, those in charge are doing research, and they just let Robert Carlyle waltz in there? Rubbish

Hopefully 28 Years gets back to the believability of 28 Days

You’re in for a big disappointment I’m afraid.

The first two had that mad frenetic induced anxiety feel about them too, there was very little of that in this film ( the house at the beginning, the causeway chase, the train and the petrol station, that was about it. The vast majority of it was just dull and didn`t really take the story anywhere.

There was people openly laughing when the infected women gave birth, whilst holding onto Jody Comer`s hands and then tried to eat her once the baby was born

They massively need to pull their socks up with the next one.
That bit totally took me out if it. Objectively ridiculous.

I thought Ralph Fiennes was very good, just enough to make him seem hugely significant without destroying any of his aura.

I really liked the ending, I think they'll go very dark in the next one.
