Confirmed Signing Thierno Barry

I don’t get the hate he gets.

Yes, most of his posts are pointlessly banal - but that goes for all of us posting on here, too.

He’s okay by me.

He doesn’t pretend to know more than he does, unlike some who make money out of Evertonians by pretending exactly that.
They’re not “pointlessly banal”! They’re merely factual, and pragmatic. as we have seen from many transfers down the years, many things can happen to turn it one way or the other. That’s simply how he sees it, and says it. People fume needlessly because he doesn’t nail his flag to the mast at a time where transfers are undecided.

Barry's Instagram story has two posts: a repost of Eric Bailly's goodbye message to Villareal followed by a photo from his own hotel window in Miami.

Doesn't Moyes live in Miami?

So, no deal done between us and Villareal, yet we're one step away? That's a pretty big step!

Rumours are that €32mil + €6mil add ons
(£27.5mil + £5mil) has been agreed.

Spoiler alert: Check the last 2 pages to find out :p

TLDR: Yes.

Let's ban all transfer rumours and threads so until the club reveal the signing officially.
Or we could just call out and shame liars...

It was quite a shock to me my first transfer window, and the stuff that was just made up. Id never experienced that here, any journalist would be shamed and humiliated for doing it so its a rare occurrence outside of a few radio "shock jocks".

If we sign Barry, we still desperately need another striker.

Barry, Beto and Chermiti is nowhere near enough for a team that wants to finish in the European places.

I’m not sure it’d be such a desperate need. We only play 1 striker and N’Diaye can also play there.

It’s wingers and another central midfielder (in addition to Gueye) that we desperately need.
