The vast amounts of money on offer for the clubs means it's staying. look at the silly things clubs did pre tournament like giving Liverpool £10m for a freebie player.

I've no issue with the tournament, hopefully it allows clubs from the rest of the world to level up against Europe.

And puts a massive strain on the greedy, money hungry clubs that go out there from Europe, and has a negative impact on their domestic form.
 

Am I being overly cynical by seeing the Man City result coming up on my news feed and straight away thinking it was fixed. City get a bigger break than they thought before entering, Saudi get their exposure, the tournament gets it 'underdog' story.

As mentioned above, a non European team winning gives the tournament a level of credibility, that it just doesn't deserve.

Its exclusively 'free' on the DAZN app, and i have to say this app is the absoloute worst experience i've ever seen in my life, its infested with soccer puns, it has "coins" you can use to bet on the outcome, it has corporate approved emojis and a "coach" who amps up the chatters.

The screen folds into two to show an advert every now and then, the app doesn't rotate from landscape to portrait unless you mess with the settings, the game continues to play when you lock the iPad. (this is all iOS btw)

It just reminds me of watching MLS games, they play music (pumping techno) before the game and during the water breaks, its such a WEIRD experience and feels like watching pre season freindlies. They also kick off when storms start, its like going abroad and not being able to get a British Fry up, its hilarious. You'd think some of these fellers would be a bit more cultured and understood tropical storms more, but no.

I remember when i first when to Orlando and had to wait 4.5hrs in the airport to get me cases cos the ground staff are legally entited to refuse to go out in a storm for fear of being hit by lightning, i had travelled 10+hrs on a plane and was tired, but understood it all.

It's crap.
 

Watching my 1st game PSG vs Bayern.

Quite an interesting match up with PSG having the better moments. The level of individuals defensive perfomances are eye opening.
