Think the law has changed now from when the Emirates was built. Any stadium now with a capacity of 70k plus needs a rail infrastructure on the stadium footprint. Not sure if they have that or not at the Emirates. If not building a station and tracks is quite complex if you don’t have the space to do it.I remember reading when the Emirates went up that it is actually built to hold 70,000, however, due to the problems getting that many out of there, they had it capped at 60,000. They went and put bigger seats in and charged extra for them to make up the shortfall with a view to switching it to the 70 when the problems could be addressed. They don't seem in any rush to do this now seeing how much they make per game.
Yep. It is the same as ManCity for example. They are not exactly attractive but they are common.Only Evertonians could miss that half the league has these retractable tunnel efforts for the last 10/15 feet of their entrances and they all look the same. But no, ours is the most terrible of all. Nobody hates Everton more than our ‘fans’ do.
Those legs look like the ones on the trolleys the undertakers roll the coffins on.Did they forget order and design one 5 years ago? Why have we ended up with a cheap tacky tent?
BoooooThis thread is turning into a total whinge fest.
