My suggestions are, avoid Rod Stewart and The 1975, have a look at Olivia Rodrigo, huff some of Joeys miracle grow and dance yourself stupid to The Prodigy.

Free speach advocates should be fighting for this groups right to say whatever they want. Nobody is making you watch/listen to them. Personally I find the loud noise they call music to be absolutely awful but that's besides the point. You're either for free speech (including stuff you don't like) or you aren't.

Even the organisers of Glastonbury condemned that act - I was just disappointed over the Searchers not being televised TBH .....
Free speech & hate speech are two different things IMO - I agree their music is not my taste, also the BBC knew they have a history of this type of thing .....
That was our war - I do not agree with what is going on over in the middle east its disgraceful - but to promote it at a music festival just get their publicity is way off the mark - let the BBC & the police sort it out any rate - I missed the Searchers the BBC are crap ..... on both counts IMO

Current affairs wasn't closed down because of my comments, it was closed because of legislative changes which would impact unmoderated parts of the forum.
I do however pay a supporter subscription to the site, so I feel like I'm doing my bit to keep the place running.
As for the rest of your post, Im pleased you don't like genocide (though you've left a somewhat grey area in terms of your tolerance for it), valuable work you do with the birthdays which is why I felt you needed the credit from @jazzy and maybe take a pinch of your own advice and try not to wade in on topics which mix music and politics if you think they shouldn't be mixed.
I agrre with all that you do not use Glastonbury as a platform to propagate hate OK

It's free speech Joey. People are allowed to criticise governments/regimes/armed forces even if you don't like what they have to say. The market will dictate if someone go to far if people stop buying artists work. Nobody would be batting an eyelid if they'd sung that song about Russia or China and their armed forces.

No its hate speech hence the owners of the festival have apologised for it plus the police are looking into it & the BBC are being investigated over it - My stance is I agree with what they claimed ,but wrong place to do it OK ....
