Transfer Rumour Kenny Tete

Always an issue when someone says it’s done when it isn’t. Tete hasn’t ever been at the point of being called done. All this now does is heap pressure on a club that look inept at closing a deal, which is slightly unfair as it never got to that point.

I tried to explain this on Twitter. This was after the abuse I received when Fabrizio originally run the story of it being all but done.
What you think now still be looking in the free age t market or loan for a rb. Or will look long term and spend money

Yes i agree it creates unwanted negativity when its likely undeserved.

Obviously on his day a very good RB but it seems he missed huge chunks of the last two seasons.

Many cheered that a DCL who on his day is good but is often injured is leaving the club.

So signing a likely injured RB seems counter productive

So fab says he’s coming, then he says fulham offered deal, then fab goes he’s staying…he’s a fraud used by agents to get better deals for their clients. Likely gets a kick back as well!

We still need a RB Coleman should not start sadly his body is finished at top level

Id be amazed if he isnt making a mint from agents & clubs to nudge deals along.
Tbf he's tapped into a great market because the lust for news in football is feverish. He's got 25m followers on twitter hanging on his every word.

Oh 100% hasn’t he traded the ‘here we go’ as well. Every fan of every club throughout Europe is desperate for any news at this time! So his basically client journalism at this point

What makes it more annoying is the last 4-5 he’s called for us have been way off the mark.

So i don’t really trust him. Joyce, Bobble then certainly more reliable

I was very happy with him as it was a free but let’s have it right, if he doesn’t come it may not be the end of the world. Let’s go out and buy a good bloody right back from someone in the championship or the premier league. Done.

Go and offer 30m for Esteve and tell O’Brien he’s not training to be a right back.

Esteve is a centre back too though which kinda scuppers this master plan .

Disappointing if hes not coming but its not a make or break transfer....

If he wants to stay at a comfortable mid table side in London rather than coming to a side looking to push on and return to European contention in a fantastic new stadium then its his loss imo...

Be awkward when silva rocks up at al kebab or whoever it is in Saudi wants to throw big bucks at him

Fair play to him, if he's happy there but just wanted a bit more dough then I don't blame him one bit for staying put once they matched our terms.

I hope that our response to this apparent setback is not to just go down the list of free agent right backs with PL experience (KWP, Coufal etc.) as that does not do the position of most concern in our squad justice. We have Jake O'Brien who can play right back semi-competently and that's it, and to be honest I'd much rather see him get given an extended run alongside Branthwaite once the season starts.

This is the priority position in our squad and are transfer business should reflect that.
