Just wondering, for those who follow the Women's team, do you care if the Friedkins sell the team? If by doing so it helps the Men's team with FFP and the Women get an investor who actively wants that team, rather than it being inherited as part of the wider club sale.

Not for a few years. The plans are to build the women's team back into a force in the WSL and push on for Champions League. Signing something like 9 players this summer, pretty much all internationals.

They'll need to get Lionesses back around the place before long. Won't be this summer, though.

I was told last week that they’ve tried for English players but no joy? Fair play if they’ve managed to sort one

One was very,very close last week. But no one probably massive compared to who people think/want. We tried 3times for Kelly in Jan but she wanted champions league football

I had heard Mary Earps too but I was surprised because of how much they love Brosnan

Never went for Earps up to now anyway. Plus we were never in for the Nigerian keeper despite all foreign reports saying she pre contract agreed to join us etc. I know all our 8 signings up to now

I know you can't say who, but do any of them surprise you (in a good way?)

Looks like we're be boss if we could pull off a signing no one expected.

Really looking forward to the new stadium for both men’s & women’s team.

Definitely looking at buying a season ticket for the women’s team at Goodison. I wonder if we’ll get allocated a specific seat, or if it will be unreserved seating, even if you buy a season ticket?
