Holidays 2025

Crete end of April ( total washout ) but lovely place.
Cruise from Cyprus around the Greek Isles early next month .
Anglesey with the family August , do this every year....Love it.
Crete again in September/ Oct ( both our birthdays )
Caribbean Cruise later this year .
Plus a few weekends away at home York etc.

But this weather is superb in my own back garden atm , BBQ stoked up and a few cold beers doing the trick 😋

Where abouts in Crete do you go? I’ve been for the last few years and got married out there a couple of years ago. I love the place. We go to a village called Piskapiano

Anyone got any info on Albania? I don’t mean late night drop-offs, the actual gaff. We have ten days there in September and not even sure where to start (airport). I’ve just sat down with the Bradt guide but nothing beats actual experience from people you nearly know

I fancy Albania but struggled to find flights from the northwest

Mostly Argentina and Chile with a little Brazil and Uruguay. The main readon is a 5 day trek in Chilean Patagonia. Where did you visit? Ours will only be 3 weeks sadly.
Everywhere. Patagonia is beautiful the trek will be amazing I'm sure. Hopefully you'll get to the Atacama desert in Chile. People were just amazing and it's why I live in Spain now. That Hispanic warmth and thirst for life. Enjoy pal x

We stayed in Piskapiano a few years ago, really enjoyed it, plenty of food and drinks options in the evening in the 3 villages, and access, down the hill, to the coast. 👍

Mentioned before we are off to South East Turkey in September, I think it's all sorted now- fly in to Antalya and stay one night, next day fly to Diyarbakir. After that we will use buses to visit Mardin, Sanliurfa and Gazientep before flying back to Antalya and bus to my favourite chill-out place Cirali for 3 days of rest and relaxation. My kind of holiday, loads to see that is new to me. Sadly, some parts may be alcohol free, but we will see.
