Glastonbury 2025

Neil Young was great - sadly Fogerhty was well out of tune sadly - a top vocalist in his day IMO
Have to agree with this @Joey66
John Fogerty was THE man 50 years ago and mistakenly I was looking forward to it. The tunes were recognisable (just) but basically it sounded like exactly what it was - an eighty years old man screaming into a microphone.
Retire FFS.

Glastonbury has always been about handing stick out to those in power as well as the music.

It's not me out of whack on the responsibility of 'artists' to reflect that. They can do that and do their sets too, btw.

The way most of them left Kneecap and Vylan to take the flak and just got on with their own embarrassing acts was scandalous. Charlie XCX and the rest of the poseurs who dont give a flying one about anything other than 'manifesting' their own success will forever be stained by it.

Yeah she’s got hella bangers though hasn’t she 💃🎶

That's absolute nonsense.

Presumably Nadine Shah doesn’t want the BBC recording her because of their appalling treatment of her brother and his Gaza documentary? Was really looking forward to seeing her live.

The BBC posturing itself to some sort of delusional, establishment friendly moral high ground, given the depraved deviants it’s ignored, championed and employed during the last 50+ years is beyond parody.

They were the one we were all looking forward to round ours so it was a big disappointment - especially as every other stream was working.

Enjoyed what I saw of Neil Young but was checking the Scissor Sisters feed every couple of minutes.
Was looking forward to listening to Neil Young over breakfast on the Sounds app...BBC pulled it.☠️

That's when you know you've arrived, lucky enough to get into glastonbury, surrounded by musicians and entertainers and thousands of people creating and enjoying an atmosphere, get in the buff in a little hot box away from it all. Splendid.

Yeah, the opening lines of that article were just so silly, talking about how Lorde was playing and instead she was in a sauna with 15 naked strangers...clearly you've lost the plot when you go to a *music* festival and spend time sequestered in a hot box. But of course the young ones go just to say they did, not to enjoy the tunes.
