The slot has always ben there and hasn't changed. It' a slot handed to them by the Eavis family and Glastonbury, nothing to do with the BBC - they're just the parasite broadcaster.

The BBC always wanted to broadcast Young's set - it was him who had the problem. As you pointed out, every act has the choice to withhold their performance being broadcast.

You've accused acts of having a careerist scab attitude for allowing the BBC to broadcast their performance. Until of course certain acts change their mind and then all of a sudden your hardline stance softens and you don't have a problem with acts wanting to promote themselves on Auntie Beeb.

The simple fact is that KneeCap can't be trusted not to say something that would land the broadcaster themselves in hot water. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
