Just gonna dump a few recent watches...

The Diplomat (Netflix).
Two seasons with the third due later this year. Bordering on ridiculous but then you listen to the actual news events like those over in Iran / Israel / US and it suddenly doesn't seem so far fetched. Similar to Homeland but lighter with a bit comedy in there. Rufus Sewell steals the show.

Invincible (Amazon Prime).
Dunno what kind of category you'd stick this in, adult animation? Not for kids that's for sure. Brutally graphic violence for an animated series. Think of The Boys crossed with Batman animated series. Superhero, sci-fi, comedy and violence.

Other noteworthy series on Prime I enjoyed were Goliath, Bosch and Handmaid's Tale. The latter probably runs out of steam towards the most recent season.

Has to be seen to be believed. Treat yourself.

As much as it’s very obviously well made, after two episodes, it’s not doing anything for me.

Is it worth sticking with it, seeing as it’s four series and forty episodes long ?

I have quite enjoyed Diplomat, great casting & performances IMHO

Good to see Russell at the helm, powerful actor - owns her scenes

Handmaid’s Tale was an intense journey led by another powerful female actor, there’s a follow-up series on its way too
