CEO/Chairman link with the owner to get cash for players + manager and his staff to choose players to buy and sell.

That's pretty much all you need.

Analytics and stuff like that are important these days but should be seen as the nuts and bolts of the organisation and nowhere near any decision making.

So Moshiri > Steve Walsh > Directeur du Jour?

Can't see that going sideways at all. Sharp thinking Dayvek.

He blamed his wife, Bartina just like everything at Everton was someone else’s fault the Edam headed bluffer.
Also don’t think he changed it, he had two. One was red the other blue so he posted a picture of the other one.

Duncan Ferguson (live at the Blackstock place a couple of weeks ago) said it was actually his missus (Duncans missus) that screwed up. She'd taken Ronald's wife out shopping for Christmas decorations and bought the red ones!

He also said Koeman proper cried when he got sacked as well.

With the committee structure, the risks are groupthink, no or muddled leadership, and slow / indecisive decision-making.

But those risks are inherent in any group and our "committee" is relatively small.

They do have to be allowed some time and space to develop working relationships with each other even though our need this summer is great.

It would have been much better if this could have been put together months ago but they did have to wait to get their chosen appointments in.

For me it comes down to Kinnear. This seems to be his initiative. You would assume he has formed a view on what will work based on previous experience and emerging trends and he has had senior roles at Leeds, West Ham, and Arsenal.

This structure, and what it delivers or otherwise, is largely on him. He has to provide the leadership, direction, and clarity. It is Moyes that should report to him as the senior executive.

Committees report somewhere / to someone. In the case of football clubs, the committees report to the shareholder/s. Good committees happen because the shareholders have clear vision and give clear instructions. Bad committees happen because the shareholders are indecisive and the committee members fight like little b*tches for small bits of power.

All troubles are solved/caused by leadership, and good leadership tends to put good people in place with clear directives and the appropriate power to carry out these directives.

Lyon relegated, another one bites the dust.

In Dan we trust (more than those other guys)
Perhaps we should be grateful that this TFG group bought us rather than Textor , or the other previous chancers that Mosh was in discussions with. At least Mosh got us the new ground though.

Think we all should reserve our judgement on TFG.

Other than rearrange the debt they haven’t done anything of note yet.

Their first barometer is this window…. And it’s fair to say it’s pretty pathetic thus far but that can all change.

The fiscal year isn't even over. Remember, we're under restraints unlike the obviously "favoured" clubs.
