A very good cricket team plays a bit of a crap one.

Very good one wins

India threw the game away. Their top order had them 420-3 and 280-3. If I was in their top 5 in the order I'd be wondering how on earth did we lose.

They have one of the greatest bowlers and probably the best wicket keeper/batter of all time.

Would say both teams are of similar quality.

Both bowling attacks probably aren’t as good as they once were.

It became apparent today after lunch that the most likely outcome was an England win, with the chances of it being a draw dwindling as the day went on. I never felt that an Indian victory was on the cards when England began the run chase.

Overall, promising signs for England.

England dropped catches too.

They have the current world’s best bowler and best current keeper. I do wonder why people try to denigrate a team that was in command for most of this test.

Great result for England against a very good opponent.
