At the moment it looks like the Indians are playing for a draw. They're not exactly going for it.

They will look to get a 350+ lead and put England in for half an hour today. You don't need anywhere near as much time to bowl a team out in the 4th innings as previous years. Plus if England bat for 90 overs they will make nearly 400 anyway. So getting the runs is far more important than time for India while they are batting.

They seem to have speeded up now but will they be brave enough to declare and give themselves an hour or so today to bowl at us.

India have batted well but it's very easy. The bowling is just not consistent enough and they can wait on the bad ball every over.

Well negotiated there, think that one partnership has killed us off and we will look back on that dropped catch! Also think we would need a day of glorious sunshine to chase this which won't be the case apparently.

That being said India's negative tactics after Pant got out were very odd, they should be completely out of sight
