New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

@evertondotcom How's it a bowl mate? I get this statement a lot from kopite mates. I'll tell you the same as I tell them; how is it a bowl when there's not a curve in sight other than the roof? Is it a bowl just because there's no big empty gaps in the corners? What's so great about having gaps in the corners? To me, it's absolutely no more of a bowl than Old Trafford is, which to my knowledge, has never been called a bowl by anybody. It's certainly not the oval shape that is associated with being a bowl by normal football fans. Just because the industry term for any seating arrangement is a bowl, doesn't mean it's what fans think of when you say 'bowl stadium'.

Our owners call it “the bowl”.
