New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Why would they close it on a match day when the soccer buses use it?
They don’t close County Road
Regent Road will be closed at a section.

The soccer bus does need its own lane though. Otherwise it won't work. I noticed at the first 2 events that the bus did seem to have its lane coned off going back towards town and the system worked well after the match. Hiwever, it didn't for the prematch journey and the buses were caught in the gridlock, with none of the buses leaving Liverpool One in the final hour before the match making it to ground before KO. With passengers disembarking and walking from the Strand. Obviously, that needs addressing.

As mentioned - we have been heavily reliant on Goodison Park, probably my entire life if I am being honest.
well we haven’t won even half our home games in any of the last 6 seasons, and in 3 of those seasons we’ve won 6 or less. Last year only 5.

So I have to say I’m not TOO worried about the new ground having some horrendous impact on our home form.

@evertondotcom - why are you are repeatedly calling BMD a shiny new stadium with zero character?

Also, you don’t half seem really negative about the move, genuine question, would you have sooner stayed at Goodison as it was?
Because it is a shiny new stadium with no character? That’s surely not up for debate?

I know it wasn’t logistically possible to redevelop Goodison, but if it would have been that would have been my preferred choice without a choice.
