New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Hill Dickinson have a worldwide turnover of 145m. No way can they pay £10 a year.
I doubt that they are paying £10m / year unless there’s some performance clause that loads toward the end of the sponsorship, however their revenue was up £14m last year, and was their 7th consecutive increase in revenue, several of which have been double digit increases.
They would appear to be in a period of strategic growth, with offices around the world opening too, so it’s not inconceivable they would have a substantial marketing budget or would be willing pay significant sums to sponsor a stadium that will be on TVs in the far east where a lot of their growth seems to be stemming from.

Revenue isn't exactly stellar however, they made a £56m profit last year which is quite remarkable on that turnover.

Whilst i don't believe they are paying us £10m/annum, i expect it is closer to £6m, they could in theory afford to throw either of those figures at us with that level of trading surplus.

Yeah, if Everton win the World Cup.

£2M top whack off a ten bob outfit.

No one knows the full details but it's likely 5-8m, but that's all revenue that we don't get now that can be used to invest in the club

Can I ask - do you want Everton to compete again ?

Was just going to say they have sub £200 tickets.
Screw that, if your willing to spend £200, then you may as well chip in a little more and buy one of the loge seats that are available for the rs game at only £3,999.00

I'm torn between buying the 4 together for 16k, or just going for the £200 ticket option which includes 1 night at the holiday inn

Football's changed since we left Goodison Park!
A simple but very profound statement.
Having been going to GP for sixty two years, for a whole host of reasons not least the travelling aspect, I honestly considered drawing a line with regards attending the matches and surrendering my season ticket and not renewing. Part of that thought process was it was going to be a whole lot different at BMD so maybe I should just cherish my memories and make do with that.
And so it seems, when I look at seating prices, food and drink outlets costs so yes, football has changed since leaving Goodison.

I thought to myself yesterday that it’s as if Everton have woken up and we’ve found ourselves suddenly in the modern age.

You're similar to me in your thoughts & its 51 seasons for me, we've got to give it a go though.
The thought of not going the match mortifies me.
Sorry, this should be a reply to tommytowne.

Completely true, but it’s important to remember there are pros as well as cons. Impossible to weight them up given no one has really experienced them yet, and nostalgia is different for everyone, but there will be many. Different for sure. Hopefully, overall substantially better.

They have their name on the stadium, it's where they will do business and entertain clients. They are guests of honour every game. And they write the cost off on the tax man. It is a work expense.
