Fixtures



TV has taken over football, its now seen as 'entertainment' for the masses.

Half the league are in Europe next season, when it used to be just the teams who'd had a really good season.

Trying to sort work & life around actually going to the match getting more & more difficult as fixtures are altered nearer & nearer to the games every season, no wonder some of us STH's have to sometimes pass them to friends & family.

Only the rich clubs seem to win things, so we all need to be rich, pay players more to try & keep them from joining the dirty 6.

We want to win the league & cups so prices will go up & I suppose we have to accept this.

Packages for the well off & some of them seem to prefer to eat & drink instead of just watching the football, but then as I've said we need the money to try & catch up so that's fine.

Sorry to sound negative (& I've gone on a bit) just want us to still be a kind decent club which I hope we always will be.

Will always love Everton though no matter what & I really hope & pray we can win a cup again soon.

I’m only one person, but know I would.

I subscribe to Sky, TNT and Amazon so I can watch every legal PL broadcast in the UK (or at least, every one that I want to watch).

I hate having to resort to unreliable streams for 3pm kick-offs. Even the best IPTV services are crap by comparison.

I wish the legit services were cheaper, but I’d pay more than I do now to guarantee I could watch every Everton game live in the best quality.

I think the current broadcasting business model is on it's last legs. I imagine it will end up with a Premier League streaming service or something similar with all matches shown.

I can't understand rules for years you could watch 3 0 clock games in pubs, until they got fined. Sky and BT and other TV companies have done more to inconvenience match going fans than anything else. If fans boycotted games, they would listen. As I said on another forum, they make money off selling partizan atmosphere to sell product, yet do everything in their power to make life difficult for fans.

TBF, they still won't. Who ever can get it now will continue to get it if it is made available in other ways. Ain't no way anybodys going from £50 a year for guaranteed HD streams, to £110 a month for guaranteed HD streams.

Not forgetting that increased TV coverage will require increased costs for TV companies which will be passed on to the customer.

And there's millions around the country like you who the Premier League aren't making any money from. Assuming the blackout rules changed and prices were more accessible than the current sky/TNT model I think the premier league could set up a legitimate affordable service that showed all matches.

A bit like Spotify has done for music.

For those people to use sky, they'd have to offer sky at £50 a year. Thats not happening, ever. They'd be increasing their outlay, for no increase in income, unless they simply charged their existing customers more..... again.
