New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Plate spinning exercise.

There's virtually nothing, beyond another exit point on the Sandhills platform, to report there that's of material difference.

The step up to 50% more fans with away fans for the first time against Roma will reveal the shambles fully. But you do wonder if - short of any accidents - any major improvements will be expedited, which is what's obviously required here.

The council have been shambolic over all of this……

Does anybody know if any Park and Ride is planned for Matchday from Stanley Park car park? This would be ideal for me travelling into Liverpool on matchday via M58. Getting to the stage now where I havent got a clue where to park on matchday. Trial run for the Roma game.
Park in town, loads of options then. Soccer bus, train, Uber or walk

I'm not so sure. I've said before that in this modern era matchdays are becoming a social event. I can see many an away supporter making adding an overnight stay in the city now that it's part of that district.

There is no real district there as yet. If Liverpool Waters grows to the extent that it was first proposed then it will feel more central, but that could be several years down the line.... it's also not like Anfield and Goodison aren't already inner city locations and similar walking distances from Lime St for instance. Hence the reason why a fair proportion of away fans already stay over in the city centre.

For everyone worrying about transport to the stadium, don't, I've got this.

God bless.

It’s alright everyone, we can all calm down, commandant Steve has sorted the new amazing yellow bridge at Sandhills, and it will be ready and operational in time for the Roma game.

The commandant deserves another pay rise doesn’t he….sterling work again from the commandant.
