There's zero around there for away fans so unless that changes I think that novelty will wear off.

I should think it's up to the owners of the Bramley Moore whether they wish to be classed as an away pub. They already have a decent following of regulars who will still want to go in.

A few well placed Palm tree's, a couple of water fountains, Las Vegas style, like an Oasis in the Desert and just to cheer Davek, Camel trips to and from the Stadium 🏟 even more transport options..

The Bramley Moore will be as much an away pub as the Winslow is/was imo.

Yeah I'd agree bar 5 clubs who fluctuate depending on form/time of game (i.e. Fulham, Palace, Brighton, Brentford & Bournemouth) they'll still sell out.

So his solution to the problem is that he hopes fans will stay away from the near £1bn stadium we've built, spend their money elsewhere and simply walk from town. That's the spirit; ignore the problem and hope it resolves itself.

How about try doing your job properly and find some money to fund infrastructure improvements that in turn will encourage more investment in the area?

If it was our red cousins he'd be moving mountains to make sure they were fully supported.

LFC are at 61k what infrastructure has been added?

Let me ask you this - yes or no answer if possible: if you were the LCC planning officer that looked at the Everton BMD application would you have passed it?

Simple enough question.

As a one off decision for a Planning Officer, probably yes.

Of course that's without knowing the detail of the negotiations and any built-in clauses etc.

Is there ? Where ? Lads I know own an ex-pub up that way and were picking my brains a few years back I suggested an away bar but drawback is it limits your hours in many respects to pre-match as most away fans head straight off after a game.
