Holidays 2025

Just back from a week in Majorca, Sa Coma. Went with another family with similar aged kids. All inclusive resort, which wouldn't normally be my thing (prefer to go out for dinner to different places). Weather was fab (30-35°) and kids had a.blast. few days out on bikes to the beach and light activities. Beer and wine on tap was a bonus. The only time I'll allow chilled red wine...

Off to Queensland with Mrs B in August; watching "Sons of the East" play in Brisbane then off to Cairns for 5 days. Mid winter but should be great all the way up there.

Then Nov/Dec me and my 16yo son are off to UK, visit family and watch as much football as we can, all round the country, in 3 weeks. Only his 2nd trip there (he was born in NZ).

Now this is a thread I can get on board with.

Off to Salou 2 weeks today. Cheap one this year saving up for a big honeymoon jaunt next year. It’s sun and nice food and sangria though so it’ll do.
Been to Salou the last couple of years I quite like it there, cheap and cheerful 2 hour flight and where we stayed 10 minutes from the airport what’s not to like. I would’ve gone this year but the wife wanted to go somewhere different hence the reason we’re in Rhodes.

Going to New York City again in July to see Everton and then have a big trip to Dublin planned for November. Thinking about hitting up Scotland as well and probably making another stop in Liverpool.
You Swine! You know how I read your post. That was deliberate.

Easy enough grab the train into Barcelona too

One of my mates goes there most years with his family and I often pop up to him or he comes into the city.
