Going to New York City again in July to see Everton and then have a big trip to Dublin planned for November. Thinking about hitting up Scotland as well and probably making another stop in Liverpool.
My wife and I have been going away in June for a few years, since the kids were too old to come with us and she’s not keen on the heat later in the summer. We’re in Benalmádena now and I’ve suggested coming back to Nerja in October , we went to Puerto Pollensa last October which was good.Does anyone purposely holiday at other times of the year avoiding the summer madness? I'm thinking of holding out and going somewhere later this year when it's less busy
Visible from Bembridge aye.is one of those fort boyard armed sea island things in the distance?

Would definitely like to visit pompei and Herculaneum. yeah, heard it can be a bit rough away from the tourist areas though. We went to Naples for a few days 2yrs ago.
There’s some really nice buildings, museums and stuff in the city centre, but it is one of the dodgiest places I’ve ever been.
I thought Pompei was mind blowing.
San Gennaro catacombs was also great
Don't know Joey,I stay with friends but they live outside the town. I jump on the Southport bus then train it into Liverpool so very rarely go near the centre.Do they still have a street market?
Yep. Every Thursday.Do they still have a street market?
Italy is a lovely country. Cycled round the lakes cple years ago, Garda, Iseo and Lake Como, absolutely stunning, the views and scenery were something else. EnjoyI'm off to Peschiera del Garda (Lake Garda) on Friday with the family. I've got my GOT app loaded on my phone along with train and bus apps to help us get around when we're not lazing by the pool. Never been to Italy so I'm looking forward to enjoying some sublime food. Fingers Crossed anyway.
Where is everyone else going that is going?
My youngest son (age 20) is in Milan at the moment doing one of his solo trips, he is hoping to do Lake Como tomorrow.Italy is a lovely country. Cycled round the lakes cple years ago, Garda, Iseo and Lake Como, absolutely stunning, the views and scenery were something else. Enjoy
