What do we reckon the price for a normal match day ticket will be, about £75?
They couldn't sell out Arsenal ones at end of last season and they were champions at that point...Time will tell whether the demand for those tickets at those prices can be met. Even the RS struggle to sell some of their similar corporate tickets for many games.
It’s wrong mate, end of.
I’ve committed to the club to pay for a season ticket - that means the seat is mine for every game in the season. It’s already been paid for.
If I can’t make it to a game or a number of games then I should be able to decide who my ticket goes to, regardless of any membership schemes etc.
My seat should already not be included in any scheme, as my arse is technically in the seat for every game and it’s already paid for - I’m just substituting another person (my choice) to take my place if for whatever reason I cannot make the game. It’s out of order and wrong.
To put it another way, it’s like me leasing or renting out a property and then me telling the tenant who can visit them and when, while they are paying me full rent.
As devils advocate, if you were to recieve any money or recompense from the individual who fills your seat, is that not sub-letting? Which would require their approval, which they aren't giving.... just to carry on with the lease theme.
All that already in play at a lot of clubs.People defending clubs for demanding seats be resold, minimum games attended etc can GTF imo. Next thing it'll be requiring attendance at all cup matches or lose your ST etc.
Acceptance of these moves just means increased likelihood of supporters having to fork out more and more for less in future years.

Unless I've missed it, I don't see a lounge where you just get food and there is a paid bar, seems village street is food + drinksTime will tell whether the demand for those tickets at those prices can be met. Even the RS struggle to sell some of their similar corporate tickets for many games.
if they go to multiple games then the membership fee get spreads across. So it’d be £81 a game if you were able to attend 10 games. It wouldn't surprise me if it was around that, last season it was £55. Most clubs last season had a sliding scale, except for us and Man utd.
If it is £75, plus you have to buy the Forever Blue Plus for £60 as well, then you are looking at £130

Well that was me commenting about my mum, as a nice one off, but tbh I disagree with you in the sense that I've seen more reasonable packages available at forest, palace that myself or friends have taken, and I think someone commented that spurs start from around 200-300 which id have gone forHospitality single tickets average out about 20% of the price of the season ticket.
There was plenty of hospitality season tickets available. The high price single ticket is to target a market we've never been able to access at Goodison, not Joe Bloggs wants to take his mum to a game for her birthday.
It is a sign of the times, personally not sure what else people were expecting.
So who gets the ticket money if you the season ticket holder can't make the match ?

The hospitality seasonal packages sold to supporters come with a 3 year commitment so any match day one-offs will need to reflect the pricing floor now established otherwise there is going to be some unhappy people…even more so than usual!Well that was me commenting about my mum, as a nice one off, but tbh I disagree with you in the sense that I've seen more reasonable packages available at forest, palace that myself or friends have taken, and I think someone commented that spurs start from around 200-300 which id have gone for
However the big caveat is this is all surge pricing related, those prices will come down I imagine over time, demand is going to be sky high in the first season and the club should definitely maximise that to make as much revenue as possible
I suspect in a couple of seasons you'll see village street prices around what spurs are
never!Let it go Matthew just like your Delap shout![]()
I know. That wasn't my point. There will be pop up pubs in the fan zone and across the road
