Arsenal (H), Burnley (A), Forest (A), Brentford (H), Wolves (H) and Villa (A) are the games that clash with AFCON by the way.
Everyone always wants the so called rubbish club 1st, or the newly promotd team. then moan when the other lot get them. We finally get them and we are acting like they are the new Barcelona, surprised if they have not already, that some are not saying Gnonto will score the winner v usHonestly, if we’re worried about facing Leeds before our summer of transfers has even begun, just relegate us now.
I expect us to win that very winnable game. Over to you, Friedkins.
Fair enough, thanks D. Poor call from the club imoEverton requested the last day of last season to be away
Not ultimately, I would prefer a bit of first day pageantry for the new place thoughFirst game is away because we’ve been home the last couple of times.
It doesn’t really though matter does it?
1st day is about everyone but week 2 it will be nice for the new stadium to get a bit more focusNot ultimately, I would prefer a bit of first day pageantry for the new place though
Nobody wants a newly promoted side in the first couple of weeks when it's all still new and exciting for them, you want to play them once the reality has set in, the fans have gone quiet and the players have realised they're out of their depth. Obviously 'there are no easy games' as the cliche goes, but Leeds away in a night game is a genuinely difficult start I think.Everyone always wants the so called rubbish club 1st, or the newly promotd team. then moan when the other lot get them. A lot always want the promoted team in truth. We just didnt get probably the one some wanted the most. Games are only as hard as you make them, or get into your head that they will be tough. One of the 1st things i always look at after the rest, is the run in, incase we need to start winning. Usually it starts in April if we have done bad for a whileThat's a tough end to the season. Thank God we won't be battling relegation this season![]()
Glad we have a game like that if honest will be a test and will get to see what this squad is aboutLeeds away on a monday night for their first game back in the big time is not the start you're looking for.
