Out of curiousity why are the cards easier for you? You do the exact same thing with your phone and a plastic card, you just tap?

Ah right, they need to purchase memberships then, add them as friends and family then you can transfer it.

I see they're doing a live thing from BMD for the fixtures coming out tomorrow. Wonder where they will host that from as we've only seen the home dressing room in any finished state as far as I can recall. Would be class to host it from one of the lounges.

And also if there is a delay they're gonna have to adddress it live tomorrow.

The issue is, not everybody is great with technology. You can choose, whether you have a plastic card, or one on your phone. Tickets on phone were brought into to stop touting at RS in 2021, Everton never brought this in because club trusted fans. If it was optional to have plastic ST, or ticket on phone, they'd be no issue. New system has been brought in to punish regular fans, who pass their ST card to family members or friends for free. If your an upper class corporate fan, they would question who you give your tickets to. Plus new system does sweet F all to stop touting, so what's the point in it?

I asked the club about digital only a couple of weeks ago. Firstly they said it was to comply with Premier League rules blah blah and we wouldn't want to get fined or points deducted would we etc?

But they did say this: The club does have a small leeway for physical cards, but this is at the sole discretion of the club and will be awarded on a case-by-case basis. If this applies to you, you can apply within the coming weeks. However, a set date for applicants is yet to be confirmed.

Or hotels for the numerous concerts and tournaments it will host?

All of the development will happen organically and through the private sector.

It happens more speedily, of course, if the local state gets their transport system working efficiently.

Getting to try your premium seat for £25 is really good value. I'm assuming the cup games will be much more expensive?

Would imagine they will be £100+ per seat on cup games

Confirmation Everton will open South and East Stand bars for an hour after games. Makes commercial sense.

Football is the escape from all of this.
Football no-one cares about colour or religion it’s about the shirt and the team.
