New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Dont think they would allow a full house for a friendly before the season start if it wasnt ready. They might ask for away fixture first so the can iron out any issues after the Roma game.
This is what was sent as part of the 3rd test event notification.

“While we can’t wait to welcome you, we also want to set honest expectations. As these are our final preparations for opening the new stadium, and due to the need to prioritise the testing of entry and flow through our Premium spaces, we will not be delivering the full Village Street experience.”

Because its his ticket that he paid for.

What aren't you getting about that?

I've done it many times myself. I go the match with my Dad, brother and uncle. If i can't go, my cousin goes. Better that than having no control over who gets it.

I genuinely don't know why you think that's unfair. It's a ticket that is otherwise unavailable to the general public, as i would normally be there, having paid for the seat in advance for the season (29 seasons to be precise).
Personally I’m NEA, but that is one of the reasons why the club do things like this.

That’s 3 out of 3 test events

We’re excited to share that, as one of our valued Premium Members, you will have the opportunity to attend our final test event at Hill Dickinson Stadium – a special pre-season friendly against AS Roma on Saturday 9 August 2025 (3pmkick off).

We are delighted to confirm that you will have the chance to enjoy the game from the seat you selected for your Seasonal Membership and join for what is an important milestone in our preparations for the 2025/26 season.

Your Space, Your Experience

As a Member of Trinity Place Restaurant, you will be able to attend the Roma match and will be allocated access for the number of seats you have contracted – no more, no less. This will allow us to stress test our Premium areas as we finalise our matchday operations.

This is a Premium test event and the final stage in a phased testing programme that has already included successful General Admission events. Your participation will be vital in helping us appraise and refine every element of the Premium matchday experience – from entry and circulation to seating and how we can offer the best service delivery in the future.

While we can’t wait to welcome you, we also want to set honest expectations. As these are our final preparations for opening the new stadium, and due to the need to prioritise the testing of entry and flow through our Premium spaces, we will not be delivering the full Trinity Place Restaurant experience.

Dining and service details for this event will be confirmed in due course, and your support will help us ensure that everything is ready for our opening Premier League fixture.

Arriving at Hill Dickinson Stadium

To support this important operational test, Premium Members will be invited to arrive ahead of kick-off to help us evaluate access and circulation throughout the stadium.

Details of your arrival time, joining instructions, and what to expect will be shared in the coming weeks.

Please continue to check your email for further updates. If you have any immediate questions, please contact trinityplace@evertonfc.com.

What Happens Next?

You will receive further details before 24 June about how to confirm your attendance and secure your seats. At that time, we will also introduce you to an exciting program of pre-season membership onboarding events.

To attend this fixture, a small fee of £25 per seat will apply.

There is no action required from you at this stage, other than to mark this date in your diary.

We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support and understanding as we prepare for this momentous next chapter in the Club’s history.

We look forward to welcoming you to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Getting to try your premium seat for £25 is really good value. I'm assuming the cup games will be much more expensive?

Apologies should have been clearer. Is there any way of passing your ticket to a mate now they've got rid of physical cards?

they are doing some mate

just don’t know the criteria

and the only other way of ( well you could last season )

you could transfer it to someone on your online everton account portal

i have family on so im guessing you can have friends but they have to be to be on it

That`s what they`ll say is behind the system, but we all know that it`s to stop folks selling their tickets on themselves and not using the clubs system. There`s pro`s and con`s to this. It stops lids selling their United and RS tickets for a few hundred quid, which was making headlines a few years ago, but on the downside it stops folks doing a mate a favor by letting them use their ticket now and again.

But it also lets people increase their game credits.

If a gestation period is needed to weed out chancers erecting tents, then I'm all for that.

In any case, a slow process in this case wont be affecting local fans. It's a hotel for out of towners.

From that image the thing looks terrible in any case Imo. Like a refugee centre. And in a terrible spot.

Or hotels for the numerous concerts and tournaments it will host?
