New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Yeah, of course, the average viewer will miss the massive Everton badges around the ground and other Everton related images that will be displayed on the tv when the stadium is shown, and the royal blue all over the fecking place, and immediately see ā€œLiverpoolā€ on the hoardings and think it clearly must Liverpool FCs stadium……

Knock it down now, we can’t have any of that!
And, of course, the TV companies and commentators in the 'foreign' countries might just tell their viewers where the games are being played.

yearh earlier mate
i asked a few months ago and they said they was - so i was asking again
Thanks. I've been conctaing various departments at the club since March, as well as the Fan Advisory Board and EDSA, but haven't yet received a definitive response. I have a particular need for physical tickets, but , generally speaking, it seems discriminatory and narrow-minded to offer digital tickets only.

I wonder if physical cards will work at the turnstile, or, will you just show your card to a steward or something similar??
I will be buying a new phone but would like a card really, we'll see.
Hope anyone who really needs one will get one.

Plastic cards won't scan at the turnstile ,they would have to be checked by a steward . If you buy a new phone make sure it has NFC which is the technology that exchanges data with the turnstile scanner. Most but not all new phones have it regardless of price .

Would anyone know if access to the stadium will be open to anyone, anytime, on non match days? Presumably match days they'll be some sort of ticket checks at the boundary wall?
Just wanted to take the family up, if/when I get to a home game, but the missus and kiddy are not ST holders.
Basically can they enjoy the pre-match buildup outside?

Why would the cards not scan at the turnstiles? They'll just put a passive NFC chip in the card, same as they have for the last however many years.

Exactly. This couldn’t be enforced on travelling fans at the away turnstiles either, you’d have large numbers being refused every other week in the absence of a regular barcode / QR code on an email (on your phone).

Physical cards can have NFC too, there’s no reason they can’t be used at unattended turnstiles if they’re using that.
If the digital cards are using refreshing QR codes that’s a different matter, but even then I’d be very surprised if they didn’t have dual reading technology to support NFC at some (if not all) turnstiles.

Physical cards are used at doors and turnstiles at work everyday, I've been using one for over a decade and they have your identity on with photo and number.

So even if you have a mobile, which pretty much everyone has nowadays, you still might not be able to get in?
What was the problem with the plastic card system? Ah the clubs official ticket touting partner, pardon me official ticket resale partner, was n`t making enough cash on the resale of season tickets so they made it harder for you to let your mate use it for a couple of games you couldn`t get to.
