New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

It's the exact opposite to the away corner, which is the north east.

Wasn't that the gutter overflowing in the top corner during the heavy rainfall, due to it not being properly connected to the drainage system.... cascading down the upper tier? Or are you talking about the lower tier's front rows generally?

Anyone got any idea which stand will be most protected from the bad weather?
The prevailing wind is from the southwest and we have a fair amount of rainfall throughout the season.

The really bad weather months Dec - Feb, we are as a region, protected by the Welsh hills from the SW and the Pennines from the east.

Only when the Weather blows in from a Northerly direction does it get really bad with heavy Snowfall and biting winds.

Make good use of your free Goodison scarf and wrap up well in the South stand when it's like this.

When I go Canary Wharf I was convinced the water in one of the docks (the one people can swim in) had blue dye in it, turns out it's just filtered and spring fed and has an excellent water quality under EU regulations.

Be class if Nelson dock can get that treatment.

If you look at any aerial views of the docks, they all appear to be blue (on a sunny day) compared to the river. This is because any sediment drops to the bottom, whereas it is forever moving in the river. Also if this section of the docks is fed mostly by local stream outlets and the canal system it will be fresher water, with less sediment.

Well I’m not talking about the wet seats, just correcting the poster on where the away corner is.

I think it was the south west where the gushing torrent was, though, yes.

I hope the seats being soaked was due to the gutters only. Am in row 13 in the South West corner so hoping that it will be dry from rain atleast!

Is there a price guide for the packages anywhere?

Not so far, just a "Register your Interest" I guess there may be some variation depending on the fixtures and demand.

I thought it was interesting that it included access to the exclusive bar 3 hours before kick off and 1 hour after the final whistle. Possibly an indication that there is a longer licence for the whole stadium, which may mean that all the bars are open for an hour after the final whistle

So with the pre-season game with Roma announced it pretty much puts to bed the idea that the stadium won’t be ready. Hang your heads in shame.
