Think Lampard did similar at Everton , unlike the FSW who’d gone before but ultimately it didn’t do that frank any good either .Mate of mine works at Spurs, said that entire first day he was going around introducing himself to everyone at the club, from cleaners through to the players, asking about them, saying hello etc. My mate said there's not been one Spurs manager who would do that previously when he's been working there.
Maybe I'm a miserable person and this certianly reflects terribly on me, but my reaction was that's small time as owt! Type of thing that works at Brentford but not a club like Spurs. I feel (perhaps wrongly!) you need a bit of arrogence and presence at top clubs. Obviously shows he's a nice bloke though.
