I'm ashamed to say I once drove from Rainford to Goodison on a Wednesday night to watch us play Villa.I was driving a mark two Cortina that had cross ply and radial mixed tyres on both axles and one of the cross ply had an egg in it.
I had a Ford Orion with that tyre set up, unbeknownst to 19-year-old me at the time.

Drove to Scotland, got a puncture, and also the most pleasant down-the-banks from the Jock tyre fitter.

We can laugh about it now,at the time I just loved a bit of danger.Looking back though ☠️

The Excorcist
I was very young when first came out. Reports of people fainting at cinemas nationwide with St John's ambulance in attendance.
I must admit it gave me goose bumps, a few nights sleeping with the landing light on. 😊

I was young too. I read the book first, my older sister's copy, when I was 10.
I was 16 when I first watched the film, while on a split shift in work, so mid afternoon. I slept uneasy for weeks, maybe months.
I have watched it about 40+ times now, it fascinates the bejeesus out of me (no pun intended).
A brilliant read and watch.

There was a scene which was cut out where the girl is walking bent over backwards on her hands & feet, horrible it was.

I've got the director's cut on DVD which contains that scene, coming down the stairs.
Other more psychological parts got me, when she tells the astronaut 'you're going to die up there', the black mass scenes etc I prefer the things you have to analyze. In that regard Jacob's Ladder is a great watch 👍
