The only thing separating us on this matter is you're ok with it; I and others aren't. Because we know it's another pisstake and we know it will affect the way we prepare for next season...hitting the ground walking and losing a lot of early points.
I dunno, I suppose I have a sense of realism when multi-million pound contracts are concernerd, you think its just like going the shop for a pint of milk, but transfers have many moving parts.

So im not really ok with it, would much prefer all our transfer dealings done and our new players sitting on a beach chilling on our dough, but the reality suggests to me that as above, we deal right up to the last second on deadline day.

And yes, it will cost us points, but we dont sign players for August 2025, we sign players for multiple seasons.

You make it sound like it's an act of God. It isn't. It's just poor governance and false economy.

I just see no benefit whatsoever about getting annoyed or upset about it.

There is nothing I can do to influence what this football club does in the next 3 months or indeed ever.
I wont lose any sleep over it either.

It'll take a while longer before the damage done by BK and his cronies is repaired and we start functioning like a 21st PL club with ambitions.

This time next season should see a real jump with the debt restructured matchday money ect.

I have a feeling we'll never see massive spending at this club again...unless TFG sell up to Arabs.
Good shouldnt really ever need to be spending massive amounts. Good scouting bringing in two players in each postions one to develop the other to go into the team straight away.

That's very worthy. But to win trophies you need massive spending.
True will need money spent and will still be able to spend alot just never going be a city chelsea ectbut we will be in a hell of a better place than before. I am feeling alot more confident with the changes they seem to be putting in place. With hopefully more to come

I'm hoping fr two things to maximise trophy possibilities:

1/ a sale in the next few years to a sovereign wealth fund

2/ a Euro Super League that destroys the PL and makes pariah's (overstretched and weakened pariah's) out of 'the elite' clubs in this country
