Yes, but we can see that other clubs are firming up and even announcing done deals. As far as Everton are concerned we just made a permanent deal for an on loan player.
Pray tell, who are all of these clubs doing this? We knew when this window was announced it was going to be for the sly 6. Which it has proved to be for. Where are all of these other deals being done? Because what I see is 2-3 deals across the entire rest of the league, a few teenagers going for 5m, and a whole bunch of permanent deals for loan players.

Oh, so just lave out 6 teams then. Are they the new rules?

to be fair have any of the other 14 got as much of an overhaul to do as us?
Players are either on holiday or away with their International teams, then will go on holiday.

I get it, we need 10+ players and we only have 2 months to do it, but that doesnt mean people dont go on holiday and basically large portions of football clubs "shut down" for a few weeks.

Of course Moyes is talking to people, agents, players, the owners and hes doing deals, so whilst I get the "OMG sign somebody Everton" stance, its just bed wetting hysteria at this point.

Well you seem to be leaving out the 14 other clubs who haven't made a signing yet.
West Ham, Burnley, Brentford and Sunderland have all spent more...that;s besides the 'top 6' clubs that aren't even top 6 anymore outspending us.

Next...

Here's The Athletic article for anyone interested:

Hearing that he has worked previously with Moyes, I do wonder if he was involved with scouting the likes of Michael Essien, Michael Ballack, Petr Cech and Didier Drogba though we didn't get any of them it could be a good sign of things to come

Next what?

You're the 1 who mentioned 6 clubs.

Anyway, we havent signed the 10 players we need, cos you know its June 13th, so its pointless carrying this on, maybe come back in a few weeks and we can touch base again.

9 PL clubs have spent more than Everton so far, in a summer when we need to get a lot of players in and we supposedly have cash to spend with our new ownership.

I'm already resigned to the re-signing of nearly all out of contract players and a last week scramble for players that dont happen.

Anyone with any experience of Everton would.

No thats precisely what is gonna happen, no doubt in my mind.

I called it in March.

Realistically we needed 10 players ready to sign on 1st June, it doesnt matter that its unrealistic, but thats ALL that would have appeased you and people like you, it was never going to happen.

So now we will go right up till deadline day, but that was always the plan.

The only thing separating us on this matter is you're ok with it; I and others aren't. Because we know it's another pisstake and we know it will affect the way we prepare for next season...hitting the ground walking and losing a lot of early points.
