So, if you wanted to go all home games it's essentially costing you £3.15 extra to get priority. (That's if it guarantees you one). But you get a fair few extras as being a member.

Paying membership fees to leapfrog to season ticket waiting list tier 1 is redundant as the waiting list size will double if not treble because of this “benefit”.

Just out of interest, what does being a member actually get you/ what are these extras? Are you able to get home tickets as a result of being a member, or is there too many members/ST holders for tickets?
We don't have an equivalent scheme, but no doubt we'll bring something similar in soon - as they want to grab every penny they can from us.

The usual junk they send, pen, coffee coasters. A WSL game for free, a few under 21 games. Some sort of Hill Dickinson experience/events (whatever this is)
Not sure how it affects aways, read separately they've scrapped credits for this membership.

If you've paid £60, you'll get a window to buy matches day tickets before tier 2 membership and before general sale.
So, you aren't guaranteed but better odds non the less.

Ok, makes sense! For a club, that's essentially an extra £60 for essentially nowt isn't it. Especially as you basically guarantee that anyone who would be going for those gen sale tickets feels the need to get ahead (even if as a result, it doesn't actually improve their chances cos everyone is doing it - bar everyone giving the club their £60!)
Obviously makes everyone feel a bit closer to the club, which is nice don't get me wrong. Those extra you mentioned are pretty nice little tokens tbf.
Can you build up points (I don't know what your equivalent is) to get more chance of away tickets with this membership?

Away tickets are rewarded to people with away credits, and rightly so too

Ah right, how does one get an away credit?
For us you need to be a ST holder. Then every time you buy an away ticket you earn one point. These points stay valid for three years, so points you earned more than three years ago are removed from your total. Guessing it's similar?

If you manage to get an away ticket - you get an away credit. Away tickets will go on sale initally to people with maximum credits and then every day or so the credit requirement will drop until tickets are sold out.
It’s hard to get on the ladder, you have to commit to a few grim trips to get started. Fulham away on a Wednesday night, Southampton away on a Tuesday evening etc.
