New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Been walking past it on my lunch pretty much every day since they started building.

Thought crossed my mind yesterday, there is still so much to do in and around the ground that 2 months does not look like enough time.

I reckon at a minimum we will ask for the first 3 games of the season to be awaay.

Worst case scenario....back to Goodison (wonder if that s part of the thought process of a)not offering more season tickets & b) not knocking the stadium down)
They still walk amongst us

Still a lot of roadworks going on, seems, cranes still around, and just general signs of not being finished.

But I'm not in construction so could be completely wrong
The catering group were advertising for Chefs to work the hospitality for the last test event, I think it was a week before the season starts, on the 9th if memory serves me right, and that is full capacity, so I think it will be ready.

Edit, just found it

I think it’s possible to fuse atoms at room temperature and release huge amounts of energy which will meet the planets needs for thousands of years.

But I’m not a nuclear physicist so could be completely wrong.

Just walked past again and to be fair, all seems like its clearing up.

Funny story is i was getting a quick video of the buildings opposite of what looks like being worked on a fan hall and maybe another bar or something. 2 fella's come legging it out yelling at me asking 'what are you taking pictures of''

I'm guessing working a little cash in hand

Eintracht Frankfurt...5 euro

Genuinely thinking about dusting down my old Hot Sellers jacket and getting down to BM.

Used to love these hotdogs years ago.
Little tip for anyone reading.
Empty the juice (brine) out of the tin of hot dogs into a sauce pan, then boil your onions in the brine, you will have the same onions as these guys used to put on their hot dogs years ago.
If you want it really authentic try pissing on your fingers but don't wash your hand afterwards.

😂😂

Yes. One concern for me, and I dont know if others will share it or not, but I would rather have a grand, Opening game against a big club (Roma would do) as a glamour, official opening fixture, rather than a League game against someone random as the first ever official game there.

We cant have a league fixture in an unsanctioned ground. Its why test events have to be friendly games. Even the u18s and u21s were friendlies.

The ground can only be sanctioned when it has passed the safety certificates.

Not to forget the drips of the sellers snot falling into the onions.

Gordon Ramsay eat ye heart out.

Also, for what it’s worth. I think they are building what’s looks like another set of steps here into Sandhills. I have no inside info, was just pissed on the train coming home last week and that’s what it looked like.
