Thomas Frank

Just read an article about him, found this interesting;

Frank is justifiably proud of the fact that Brentford are one of only three clubs in the five leading European leagues to have three players in double digits for goals scored.
Brentford have Mbeumo (18 goals), Wissa (18) and Schade (10); Bayern Munich have Harry Kane (24), Jamal Musiala (12), Leroy Sane (11) and Michael Olise (10); and Barcelona have Robert Lewandowski (25), Raphinha (16) and Ferran Torres (10). It is good company to be keeping.

I see Spurs have approached Brentford for him.

He'd have been my pick to replace Dyche.

Spurs would be a real leap into a low expectation/stable club into a bit of a circus. Real acid test to see if hes any good or not...

The other side of the coin is that this will test Brentford’s much vaunted data led recruitment. They’ll be looking at replacing their manager and best striker in this window. Could easily be drawn into trouble if they get it wrong.

I don't know why anyone would bother with Spurs.

It's a basket case club.

That said he wouldn't have picked up the phone for us in January I bet.

I would like Frank as a replacement for Moyes further along the line.

Moyes has hinted that it is unlikely that he will remain beyond his current contract so the owners must start succession planning sooner rather than later. Ideally they will have numerous suitable candidates in mind when it becomes the time to replace Moyes.

Well he'll probably be available 18 months from now after Spurs sack him. Sorry @Yid4life

From the pick of managers in the league he would have been my top choice. I think he's very capable of game management week to week and the players seem to respect him a lot. Obviously Brentford run the moneyball model but I think he's a capable manager aside from that. Will be interesting to see if he can step up.

Not opposed to this.

Potentially losing Mbuemo, Wissa & Frank?

Signing Kelleher (who i dont rate).

Wouldn't be upset at losing a London club, provided they're replaced with a northwest power house like Preston, Blackburn or even someone like Birmingham.

Can you imagine how many of you would've murder Frank (online and in the stands) if he was manager of Everton? You would be merciless.

I think he's a good fit for Spurs. His teams score lots of goals which is a prerequisite for Spurs fans.
Brentford scored 66 goals last season, to Tottenham's 64. Not sure about that.
