I think the media take a lot of the blame for the over hyping of players, Burn, Gallagher, Jones,Walker, Gordon, Skelly are all just above average players, the rest are decent but not a single world class player, a player that can change a game

They do overhype players, but so do the Spanish media and, I imagine, the Argentinian, German, French, Portuguese, Italian and Brazilian media.
Any manager who picks players based on media hype is not fit for purpose.

The last two games were dire,
I understand he needs to see players, but there seems to be no pattern to the play.
Players didn't seem up for it either .
With the players at his disposal he should be able to put up a better show than that.

His football has always been dire. Still don't understand how the Bayern idiots got rid of Nagelsmann to get this fraudster in.

Actually rarely happens in Germany. We always believe that our squad is just a bit worse than the top squads. We even thought so in 2014, can't remember that anyone believed we would win the WC especially after narrowly escaping the exit against Algeria in extra time.

Have always thought his CV was low key fraudulent. Loads of trophies at PSG and a title at Bayern which don’t count, a cup at Dortmund, and a Champions League at Chelsea in the Covid season which wasn’t real football.

His style of management is also so wildly different to Southgate’s that the players were never going to respond well to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was gone before the World Cup, but he certainly won’t be here a second after we’ve gone out tamely in the quarters.

Yes when I moved to Germany and started watching football here the lack of hyping of their players was one of the first things I noticed. Then that makes you realise how mad the English media is

I like Henderson as well, much better than Ramsdale, but he’s not in Pickfords league, none of the so called other England number ones are.

Coaches never really do well at International level, where it's much more about man-management. There really isn't the time to intensely coach International players, as there is at club level. International players also shouldn't need a lot of coaching either.

Tuchel strikes me as more of a coach than a manager in that respect. England needed a manager who can inspire something in the players, rally them to a cause and so on.
