New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Yeah, of course, the average viewer will miss the massive Everton badges around the ground and other Everton related images that will be displayed on the tv when the stadium is shown, and the royal blue all over the fecking place, and immediately see “Liverpool” on the hoardings and think it clearly must Liverpool FCs stadium……

Knock it down now, we can’t have any of that!
The stadium will be full of foreign fans with their colours and flags and banners dominating the stadium.

Does it matter though Dave? Only one club in the city will be making money from the Euro's, though I've just realised they'll probably have a club shop bonanza but you get my point. ;)
We'll have to see how it works out, I suppose.

We have three seasons to play at this stadium to make its connection to Everton beyond all doubt and confusion.

Qualifying for Europe would help no end in that respect.

The connection will be made when stuff Man Utd there next season Dave.

The Premier League is the most-watched sports league in the world, broadcast in 212 territories to 643 million homes, with a potential TV audience of 4.7 billion people

The Euro's is just a bonus for us, and in some ways a kick in the teeth for them. It's not the competition that is gonna define anything for us going forward.

To us there'll be no confusion. To your average Hans/Enrico/Pierre/Tomasz/Juan/Erik who aren't really big football fans but will just watch their own national team's games they'll just see 'Liverpool' and think "ah, that's Liverpool's ground then."

The undiscerning - which will be the vast majority - WILL be confused.
For clarity, you’re the fella who absolutely had to tell us all how you’d visited Goodison for its final game, but didn’t go in, so not a fan with enough credits to go the game and certainly not a season ticket holder, also the same fan who claimed the violinist played “spirit of the blues” when in fact the most basic of true Everton fans knew from the first note it was z-cars.

I think many know that you like to find an argument in any thread, like when you claimed this ground would be a soulless bowl with a running track and fans nowhere near the pitch. Thankfully no one will have to worry about sitting near you. Not that you’d express these opinions away from social media.

UEFA competitions for 2026/27 and 2027/2028 will go a long way to stamping our identity on the new stadium and ease into Euro2028 as 'a brand' associated with it.

'Percy', you sound familiar.

Who did you used to post as here? 🤔

I think people are fretting a bit too much over this "people will assume it's Liverpool"s ground" thing.

The vast majority of football fans watching will know what Anfield looks like and it won't look like the Hill Dickinson.

Some might not but the fact the seats aren't red will be a other giveaway.

Way to dodge the question. What is it you get from being the way you are? The happiest you have ever been seems to be us under Dyche and Martinez. Crackers.
The mask slipped months ago my friend. Dave used to be an entertaining little distraction in here. But lack of imagination and originality has meant that he has exposed himself as a simple troll. Not an Everton fan in a million years. Just someone who has a problem with us who comes on here to wind people up and be a contrarian. Most on here are just pressing the old mute button now.

In fairness he owned up to that when he was boasting about visiting Goodison for the final game, I wouldn’t be boasting about going to Goodison if I had no chance of being in there. I’d just go and quietly pay respect to it, fortunately for me I was there.

Agreed

If someone can’t work out that the ground isn’t anfield then are they a footy fan anyway?
