Anything to do with football that has Liverpool on it is tainted with their shame.Liverpool is our City mate and we're proud of that. As long as it doesn't say LFC
I was no part of that at our home

I went there years' ago to vote on a strike. No postal ballots then. Hands up in air, strike, off to the pub, those were the days ! Winter of discontent my arse.I'm sure I went to the Liverpool Stadium once with my dad. A dockers meeting. Old venue
I can handle this. Gives the world a geography lesson. It wont, It'll be called Everton stadium, but there's a good chance "liverpool" will be on the half way line hoarding. And that's kinda fair enough.
I have it on good authority that it will be named ‘Stadion FC Sexy’ for the tournament. It will be everton stadium for the euros
Wasn't the back of Old Hall street?
Most people have other things to do so they'll get off earlier than usual to beat the rush IMO.I think I saw some of the ‘experiences’ are allowed stay open until 11pm. Likely that is to cater for non football events, conferences and concerts etc but if the license is flexible then no reason they can’t open for 2 hours post game for example.
That's a scary and sad.Yes, it was there. Thats also the site where Liverpool zoo used to be. It burnt down. Legend says that on some nights you can still hear the panicked cries of the animals.
Its the city that is hosting the competition and the stadium is the venue in the host city where the games are played.I suppose we'll be in the same boat as Villa in the Euro's with 'Birmingham' being used. In the past Benfica's stadium has been used for CL finals with 'Lisbon' plastered all over the host venue - more associated with city rivals Sporting (outside Portugal) than with Benfica.
'city of Liverpool' would be preferable for 2028 games, but I doubt UEFA will compromise. Mind you, better 'Liverpool' than that ridiculously embarrassing name our stadium has been given either way.

The club is in Liverpool, the Stadium is IN LiverpoolI don't see any problem with our association with the city of Liverpool being reaffirmed on a world stage...... nor, by extension that their stadium is seen as being deemed unworthy (for whatever reason).
