I mean we have no basis to say this whatsoever mate.

He will have other offers on the table. Currently he's giving Everton a chance to strike a deal out of loyalty to the club. It's up to the club to decide if they want to do so.
The way I see it a deal has been on the table since last summer that he’s stalled and stalled on signing. I imagine the club have now offered a contract more in line with his injury/scoring record (which they’re well within their rights to do), if he doesn’t fancy signing it then he should reject it and look elsewhere.

His wife really hasn’t done him any favours tbh. Posting that he’s in the top 3 top goal scorers at Goodison ‘ever’ the other week for starters.

She's probably got no interest in football and 'ever' clearly means the premier league.

I must have missed what bad things shes done? Seems a fair few have an issue with her?

Didn’t we offer like 110 but he wanted 150…no way he gets even 110 now prob lot less.

I’d rather he left think best for everyone if he moves on

Perhaps in contract negotiations he’s also been informed he’s no longer a guaranteed starter. That everton will bring in additional strikers so on paper could start season as 3rd striker.

That along with the wages might be why he think’s he’s better leaving.
