Player Valuation: £70m
They are clickbait headlines though!
‘Ideally’ he wants his players in Europe (not sure why tbh), but it’s definitely not a requirement.
Do they really need another Maddison? It won’t be either, he’s the most Spurs signing I’ve ever seen.
Maddison plays in the #10, Grealish plays LW, can definitely see him going there. Potentially Son replacement if he goes.Do they really need another Maddison?
Not necessarily. In the latter years of Moyes first spell iirc we used to play Pienaar/Mirallas, Fellaini and Osman with Gibson/Phil Neville behind them, 5 players who were never blessed with much pace at that. Charly is certainly capable of playing deeper, he works hard and isn't afraid of a tackle plus as I say he's played there quite often at other clubs. Wouldn't even say Grealish is a particularly lazy un-Moyes-like player either despite him fitting the stereotypeCannot see any way in the world that Moyes plays Grealish as a 10 with Alcaraz behind him, it's like the antithesis of what he wants his teams to be.
Yeah I don't think it's on myself for the same reasons, but to say he brings nothing would be a lie, like. He's got 3 less assist than the person taking almost every corner and free kick we've had in the last few years, in a team playing mostly for corners and free kicksFor your argument

I like Jack Grealish but it is simply we have McNeil and Ndiaye to play on the left.
He offers the same output as McNeil and Pienaar but has a £100m reputation and £300k a week ego to boot.
It's a non-starter and click bait rag story.
Move on folks.
I'm not jealous in the slightestI saw Skid Row at the NEC, KISS at Donnington, and Leopard at Don Valley. All great shows.
Is that a negative?Good player, utterly obscene wages.
I knew a fella named Rowe and his nickname was Death, cos he was a boreI worked with a bloke once who's nickname was Skid. Being a pup back then I didn't realise it was due to his surname being Rowe. I concluded it was cos he kept sh*tting himself or summat.
We would probably want city to cover half his wage but I think they would also want a loan fee upto 5 mill. Which would mean around 12.5 for the season. Our wage bill has nearly halved so we should have room to pay a couple of players a big wage if no large transfer fee comes into it.Is that a negative?
His high wages are the reason why City will not be able to sell him and still have to pay some of his wages if he goes on loan.
A Grealish on reasonable wages would be worth £25-30 million. And he would have no resell value. Sign him up for three years and give him 100k a week and he'll cost his new club £15 million a season.
If we could get him on loan where City covered half his wages, he'd cost us £7-8 million for a season. Without committing to have him on payroll when he's +30 yrs.
In comparison. We signed an old Doucoure without resell value for £20 million. Three year contract. Probably £11-12 million a season incl wages? Similar numbers for Allan?
I am not Grealish' biggest fan, but if he wants to come and Moyes want him, we can do a lot worse than paying £8-10 million for having him a season.
I blame Fabian DelphWhy on earth would we spend huge sums (in fees and wages) in the one position where we actually have some depth? The press seem determined to link him with us but I just can't see it.
