Interesting piece on the Beeb about finances in the Women's game over the last couple of seasons:
In a world full of obvious statements:

One player who Sorensen held face to face talks 2days before final game (Not in person, but via CP). Wanted a move to London, but was so impressed by Sorensen that she had a change of heart 2 weeks ago and agreed to sign for us. We for whatever reason (I think due to a change at the other club or may be us) have now pulled the plug on that deal. Though she was not the type of better player i would have been expecting

Another player is leaving. That make's it 3 that have not been announced that are still classed as current players, to add to ones that were announced

The Transfer window opens on the 18th June, with contracts ending on 31st as always

Do you have a feel if those 3 were planned / anticipated? 3 out, 6 in, so far gives us a +3, which is fine, if they are the right players.

Thanks!

Further look at avg attendces this year. Ours increased slightly. Bit of a mix for other clubs (Utd, Villa, Spurs).
It says we were slightly down on attendances this season. Some teams figures would have shown an increase by having some games at the main ground. It will be good to see if our crowds will go up with the games being played at Goodison. I only went down to WHP once to see where it was, and there was`nt much in the way of places to go pre or post match, so with the area around Goodison being full of places to go before the game it might help bring a crowd.

Oh yh, couldn't remember exactly as I read it hours before posting! :o Interesting that basically the whole (and more?) difference in average attendance across the league iirc was basically down to one club being demoted and replaced by another with much smaller crowds.

I still think there is a bit of a novelty in going to the WSL that has added to the interest, and that may just be starting to ease off a bit.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how England do this summer and if there is a boost from that. But overall the only thing that is going to drive attendances long term is putting on a good show, and ultimately that starts and ends with the on-pitch product.

We are after a player that is close to been a Lioness. While another Everton Fan player who left her club recently wants to join us. But that may depend on if the Future Lioneeses star signs as we may have no space

Yep. A lot have wanted the WSL to go to 16 Clubs, with 2up and 2 down for a while. so its slowly ,it seems getting that way, sort off
Also lengthens the season - with 14 teams, each will play 26 matches rather than the current 22 - this brings better income to the clubs in terms of sponsorship deals, ticket sales, etc - and better salaries to the players as there should be a general increase in wage bills to reflect the additional matches along with a (hopeful) overall increase due to increased demand for quality players for more teams.
