Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

He’ll rock up at Villa I reckon. They’ve recently shown a willingness to pay a large percentage of wages for loanees (Rashford/Asensio), have European football and are his boyhood club to boot.
For perspective even 75% of Rashfords alleged £325k per week is ‘only’ £6.4m. As I understand it there was no loan fee so that is the sum total of Villa’s exposure with the Rashford deal.
Unfortunately they cacked the bed on CL on the last day / couple of games otherwise it would have been a bargain.

Football is all about ball carriers these days.

Imagine him, Alcaraz and Ndiaye.

Football's always been about one thing only and that is winning, what's the point otherwise and why do people get paid to help do this? Pep just happened to come across a more effective way (provided the money/players) to get results which is why it's been adopted so much and why it's apparently become "boring" now, as familiarity breeds contempt. Who's to say Grealish doesn't feel the same, hence the lacklustre play? He strikes me as someone who can easily be influenced by popular opinion.

Whether we acquire him or not, I don't care. My job's not riding on the decision (good luck, David) but, like in most threads, there are a lot of personal truths clouding this particular scenario, including my own.

Have you ever seen him play? As much as Dele was a hyped player he never did the things or scored goals like Grealish did on a regular basis. Dele scored like one volley for spurs which was decent.

Watch this (from over 3 years ago) and rethink.

Dele scored 18 premier goals in a single season. Twice Jacks best total 😂

That penalty decision was crooked and cost us a deserved win. Could have really cost us, but thankfully we had the quality to take it from their hands.
Personally I put the blame at moyes feet. Failed to see we needed to make substitutions when they were desperately needed. Especially Doucoure who's flagging energy became stupid needless freekicks given away

Southampton want £100m for Dibling, that’s why nobody is going near him.

Do you really think a (now) championship side would not sell a young player like Dibling unless the fee was close to £100mil?

I'd be offering £30mil with £10mil in add ons for both him and Rigg.

In the next 2 seasons they'll be ace. Branthwaite path to the top type players.

You can't blame Moyes for a clear and obvious VAR error. They took ten minutes monitoring it.

“you thankfully don’t have our money”
you’d have us bankrupt

Steven Pienaar never had good numbers. We would take him back in his prime in a heartbeat. I'm not sure about taking Grealish but I am sure football is more than stats.
Pienaar played in a completely different era of football. We are now in one where the best teams are dominated by players in wide positions who contribute with goals.
