Most Pleasing / Disappointing Results 2024 -2025

PSB1

Player Valuation: £10m
For me, the final day result at Newcastle pleased me probably more than it should have done. Endured eight miserable months in that neck of he woods with the horrible acccent and the false smiley bantery garbage. The fact that the club is also in bed with lgbt hating, ultra capitalist assholes only increases my loathing.

Most disappointing game was Man Utd at home (though it could also have been away). There is something about that rat faced midfielder that only a steam roller could cure.

So what are yours?

Newcastle was a big win for us and for Moyes.

That Bournemouth game was dreadful, it will live long. An absolute panic and collective collapse.

Doucoure's winner at Forest was great as well.

Man Utd home was probably the biggest disappointment since Moyes' return. We had them beaten and drew them on.

The last day win at Newcastle was probably the best result of the season for me, as I went into it expecting the team to be already on their holidays, but it was a very good performance and a well deserved win.

Its hard to pick out a stand out bad result, but the United and Ipswich home games were very disappointing. Looking back over the full season it`s just as annoying to look back at the 4-0 hammering we took and United and Spurs when you see how terrible their seasons overall were.

Both Bournemouth matches were awful for different reasons. And the cup come to think of it. What is it about them!

Notts Forest at home was bad but then turned around for the away fixture.

Southampton away really bad. But then the home match sending Goodison off nicely after I was sure we were going to balls it up.

Bournemouth without question the worst for me. Still can’t get my head around it even now. Southampton away well up there as well (or down there). Forest at home was dire too

Best: Newcastle last game was a very good performance and result, as others have said I was worried how up for it we’d be after the emotions of Southampton the week before. But no they where all in their game and fully deserved the win .

Forest away was another good performance and I also enjoyed Brighton and the ‘shithousery ‘ of Ndiaye 😁

Southampton home probably deserves a mention , I know they where by far and away the worst team in the league but it was vital we left Goodison with a win.

Bournemouth loss was awful.

Strangely, the Crystal Palace win was big for me because I had doubts on our ability to score goals to stay up. Away win, Beto and Alcaraz score. Beto continues his scoring run and we are essentially safe.

Bournemouth without a doubt the worst.
I can remember sitting there, sunglasses on in the sunshine, 75 / 80 mins on the clock, thinking to myself we will be alright this season, no relegation wories if we play like this, Bournemouth are crap, they'll be down there.
and then......................
my brother rang me just as i was on my way back to the station and i couldn't talk to him, I was so angry, i got home and never said a word until the following day.
Thankfully, we had a few good days on the road, Palace, Newcastle, Brighton, Forest, Fulham
