They've gone out of their way to avoid being identified with this club.

That's the fact of the matter.
Would it make any difference to our league position or trophy haul if they were front and center of the VIP seats at the match and getting interviewed on sky telling the masses how much they love the club and how they are completely devoted to making Everton the greatest most successful club on the planet.

That's two end of the spectrum.

No one surely can be happy with the lack of attention these people have handed Everton?

I am not particularly bothered about an end of season message from the owners. In Roma's case, their supporters will probably welcome the message as it helps to clear the air on the ownership's commitment to the club.

That being said, I would welcome a message from Friedkin or Watts, unless their programme notes for the Southampton game were meant to serve that function.
I suspect the programme notes were meant to serve as exactly that

Programme notes written by one of the Everton Communications team.

After their first mis-steps at this club this lot and their no-show here will be front and centre. Bank on that.

It might be nice to hear from them, but then again what is it they`d likely say to get fans fired up and excited about their new ownership`s future direction for the club? Every club take over seems to be followed by statement from the new owners about their 5 year plan to bring CL football to the club and other nonsense about how they feel in touch with the supporters and have grown to love the club and all it stands for.

We got that from Moshiri the last time:

“I am delighted to take this opportunity to become a shareholder in Everton, with its rich heritage as one of Europe’s leading football clubs."

"There has never been a more level playing field in the Premier League than now. Bill Kenwright has taught me what it means to be an Evertonian and I look forward with excitement to working with him to help deliver success for Everton in the future.”

Most fans are probably delighted to have a brake from the constant rubbish they`ve been feed from the club since the early 90`s.
