Just got back to hotel after taking the Mrs to watch Beyoncé at Spurs. That is a brilliant stadium that. If we have something half as good at BMD we’ll be on to a winner.

It felt like they were terrified to drop in any wide shots.

Far from quieting the conspiracy nuts, I think the strange tight focus shots only made it look like they were actively trying to hide the bigger picture.

That aside, I wasn't that impressed with the atmosphere on an away game a couple of seasons ago..just felt too big and a bit souless tbh. Maybe just too many corporates (still in the hospitality bars, and not actually outside watching the game)

The outfitters are the same company who did Spurs, so they come with great ideas and experience. Yet, importantly, the outfit will not be to the same standard.

But that's because they spent a lot more money than us building it! So as you say, even half the output will be a great experience, and from what I've seen it is.

Well they will be. The point they were making was that the fit out is on schedule, not that it’s finished, so yeah they aren’t going to do sweeping panoramic shots of the whole thing because it is still effectively a building site.

Yes - and they clearly made the judgment that people would freak out if they saw the full reality.

I can understand that choice - but it does make the video feel weird as a result.

I’m commenting on the shot selection feeling weird, it was still an informative exercise.

Just spoke to a mate who’s working on the job (floorlayer) who previously told me it was behind.

“Loads to do but doable, might be going onto shifts to get it done”

They’re now looking for Floorlayers and looking at the dates here, it’s gonna be all go right up to the start of the season.

So if anyone knows any floorlayers who fancy it, send them this..
