Wheres our end of season message?

This is very interesting. If an end of season message doesn’t pop up on the Everton website in the coming days, then this hardly looks good in relation to prioritisation of the two clubs. As I’ve said before though, If they are indeed going to prioritise a Serie A club over a club in the most watched and lucrative league in the world, then that would be very foolish on their part, unless they’re trying to flip the club for a quick profit. At least in the short term we know we are in stable hands. No Moshiri style nonsense here.

I see where you are coming from here to a degree. The main thing is that they spend to the maximum extent possible in the summer.

Clearly Friedkin will be a low-key owner. If I'm correct he went quite a long time without taking in a Roma match and this ownership statement is their first direct utterance to Roma fans since the aftermath of the De Rossi sacking when they confirmed they had agreed to buy Everton.

I'd expect Friedkin to be in attendance for our first home game and there will probably be a message in the programme notes. It will be very odd if he isn't there in person though. He will have known the timescale on this since the day he bought the club. Maybe he issues a statement once a year, fine, but I would like to see him there in August.

You could be right, get in the new stadium, debts sorted and with a bit of investment to push us in to the top half we could be ripe to flip for over £1bn.... massive profit to be had for TFG.... I think Qataris are looking at Spurs or someone might put 2 + 2 together! 😂

I am not particularly bothered about an end of season message from the owners. In Roma's case, their supporters will probably welcome the message as it helps to clear the air on the ownership's commitment to the club.

That being said, I would welcome a message from Friedkin or Watts, unless their programme notes for the Southampton game were meant to serve that function.
